Obama Campaign Trips to Las Vegas, Nevada The Obama campaign is encouraging supporters from Santa Barbara to travel to Las Vegas to persuade voters in this critical swing state to vote for him. Several weekend trips are planned, including, 9/12-14, 9/26-28, 10/17-19, and big GOTV 10/31-11/4. Discount air fare, hotel rooms, car pools, buses (possibly), and training will be available depending on the trip. Precinct Canvassing in Goleta for Doreen Farr Just as the Second District was a very high priority in 2006, we're going to give the same emphasis to our South Coast corner of the Third District this year and elect Doreen Farr as Supervisor. At the same time and with the same effort, we can also work to support Obama, Capps, Jackson, Nava as well as endored candidates for Goleta City Council and the Goleta Water Board. We will definitely get "more bang for our buck" with our work in Goleta. Join us on Friday September 12th through Sunday September 14th to canvass walkable Goleta neighborhoods.
